A Norilsk woman received shoes instead of shoes and collected 10 thousand from the seller

For confusion with goods, the entrepreneur will pay the Norilsk woman almost double the cost of the ordered boots. This was reported by the regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor.

A resident of Norilsk ordered boots from the marketplace. However, when opening the packaging of the goods in the fitting room of the pick-up point, the woman discovered that instead of shoes, she had received shoes. The operator of the point stated that the package had to be opened in front of him. As the buyer noted, no one notified her about this.

On the same day, the woman wrote to the seller about the current situation, attaching the corresponding photos, but the return request was rejected, since, according to the seller’s explanation, the product did not belong to him.

“The “homeless” shoes had to be left at the pickup point. According to the victim, the aggregator also did not deal with her issue, so she decided to contact us,” Rospotrebnadzor said.

The Department's specialists advised the victim and helped to draw up a statement of claim in court to protect consumer rights.

The court recovered from IP Jalilova E.R. in favor of the consumer about 10,000 rubles, of which:

• cost of goods – 5,159 rubles;
• moral damage – 1,000 rubles;
• fine – 3,079 rubles.

The decision came into force.
