Volodymyr Zelensky on the defense of Ukraine. Russia intensifies drone attacks


In Kherson Oblast, which is partially occupied by Russians, four people lost their lives and 11 were injured, including one child. The details of these events were announced by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the military authorities of the Kherson region, via the Telegram messenger.
Another four deaths were reported in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine. Vadym Filashkin, head of the regional authorities, said that four people died in the Kramatorsk region, including one in Lyman and three in Kramatorsk. Additionally, four people were injured in these towns, and two more were injured in Konstantynówka.

Russian drone attacks on Ukraine
Drone attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region injured 19 people, and six people were injured in shelling in Zaporozhye. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russians fired 98 heavy Shahed-type drones towards Ukraine. Of this number, as many as 69 were shot down or neutralized thanks to the use of electronic warfare means.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that over the last week, Russia has used over a thousand drones, almost a thousand aerial bombs and over 60 missiles of various types against Ukraine. In his statement published on social media, he emphasized that Ukraine must intensify actions to strengthen its defense against Russian attacks.

Peace plan for Ukraine. There will be conversations
A meeting of national security advisers from the member states of the informal E3 group, i.e. Great Britain, France and Germany, with representatives of Ukraine, the European Union and the United States is scheduled for Sunday in Geneva. The topic of the talks is to be the American proposal for a peace plan for Ukraine. President Zelensky said that Ukrainian advisers will also work in Switzerland with representatives of the US, Germany, France and the UK to discuss further diplomatic actions.
