In an article entitled “Galaxy of ultra -conservative media in Poland” the daily discusses or enumerates: the weekly “Networks”, “Gazeta Polska”, the portal independent.pl and Telewizja Republika, Radio Maryja, “Nasz Dziennik” and TV Trwam.

As he writes, “there is a whole series of media, websites and publications even more on the law, which encourage Law and Justice, the most important opposition party, to radicalize.” “Many of these publishers, especially those that openly support the far -right confederation, appear in a veiled or opening manner behind the exit of Poland from the European Union,” adds the daily, without giving specific titles.

According to “Le Monde” in Poland, “the reaction media offer is large”. “They are numerous, divided into various clans, more or less competing with each other, each in the service of the current right wing. The daily refers to the estimates of the bimonthly “Press” and in this context gives the amount of “PLN 1.36 billion, mainly in the form of advertising of public enterprises, but direct subsidies.”

“Regardless of whether they belong to countless ultra -Catholic media, or to the nationalist category of” political snipers “(aimed at destroying those they consider to be their enemies), these publications are distinguished by a virulent criticism of the European Union, anti -immigration rhetoric, anti -lgbt and undermining climate change” – assesses “Le Monde”.

According to the French journal, these publications “tend to create alternative narratives, where the meaning of facts is relative.” “Le Monde” accuses these publications of the use of “glaring manipulation, scandalous photomontages on the first pages, the language of hatred, and even incitement to violence.”

The daily estimates that the recent presidential election in Poland has shown that “it is a country where 80 percent votes to the right, including barely 30 % – for a moderate right.” “The first round of voting showed an unprecedented jump (support for – PAP) of the right -wing right to 21 percent.” – emphasizes “Le Monde”.
