But before implementing what he set out, the Romanian technician would “download” by the ballast last season. And he also acknowledged that between him and the owner Ivan Savvidis there was “a crack” at one point. The press wrote about this short circuit, in the spring, when the problem of a departure of Luce Jr was raised. But, at that time, he at least denied the existence of any break.

Răzvan Lucescu: “In our discussions, agreements and disagreements have appeared”

“I think everything that happened is the field of the past. It has been a long time and now I am looking at the future. At the end of last season, which was a complicated season, it was true, I had said that because of what happened it was not the best year for us. Finally, but in the playoff we managed to bring a different image, one will play.

I had a good season end and ended in 3rd place, as I started this process at seven points behind AEK and four behind Panathinaikos. And as we qualified in the Europa League, I can say that we were … OK, “Răzvan concluded, before talking about the short-circuit in the relationship with the patron Savvidis.

“Starting from the fact that I finished in 3rd place, I had some internal discussions. In these discussions, agreements and disagreements have appeared. These things happen in teams. There was a … crack (no – in the relationship with Savvidis) for a short period, after which its normalized situation.

The contract with PAOK is valid as usual and we decided to move on together. Let's be together and find the motivation, try to do our best in this new season ”, concluded the Romanian technician.

Răzvan Lucescu: “I felt responsible for what happened and for some behaviors that affected the team”

Then, he spoke about the new Răzvan Lucescu: “Personally, I left behind all the negativity I had in me and I decided this summer to return with a positive mentality and thinking. Last season, my negativity and discomfort were obvious from some of my reactions to the Greek championship.

I felt responsible for what happened and for some behaviors that affected the team (no – was suspended twice during the last season). On the other hand, of course, I felt that I do an injustice to Paok and compared everything that happened in Greek football. Mainly for how the teams in Athens are treated, where there is never a decision against them. I felt I had to leave all this behind and focus on my work, I want to enjoy this season.

I have a huge passion to work hard on the field and I hope this approach will create a stronger group within the team and that all will come to light. Players must have a huge self -confidence in order to be 100% united and prepared for any … kind of fight. There will be many battles during the season, many complicated moments, and a team that is strong, especially mentally, can win the battles and can overcome the complicated moments. ”

I am very happy. Why? I don't listen to anyone. I do not listen to what you say, I do not read what you write, I do not listen to those around me, I told everyone to tell me nothing what is written. I do not want to have any information about what the world says and what is written. I want to enjoy myself. And for me, joy is on the ground ”
