Pancu, one of the symbols of Rapid, went directly to the section reserved for supporters in Giulesti and greeted them. The rapid displaced a large gallery, several hundred fans, and they reacted immediately.
They chanted Pancu's name and chanted the famous refrain “Hey, Panco, Panco, italiano!”. In the end, the two sides cursed Steaua, the traditional rival of Giulești.
Even though Rapid had just lost without the right to appeal, the supporters didn't reproach Pancu, who reacted with a restrained smile.
The match in Gruia was controlled by CFR. Transylvania speculated on Rapid's errors and scored three times in the second half.
Following this result, CFR climbed to 11th place, next to FCSB, with 19 points. On the other hand, Rapid remains in first place, with 35, and can be equaled by FC Botoșani, if the Moldovans will beat Dinamo.
