In the Krasnoyarsk microdistrict Pervomaisky, a problematic 17-story building on Gruntovaya was completed. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

The house on Gruntovaya Street was for a long time considered one of the oldest long-term construction projects in the city. Construction of the facility began in 2007, but the company went bankrupt, leaving behind defrauded shareholders. In 2012, another developer took on the obligation to complete the house, collected additional money from people and also went bankrupt.

In 2020, the Federal Territorial Development Fund paid compensation to shareholders and received the right to dispose of the unfinished facility. As a result, a 17-story building was erected at his expense.

“Since last year, there have been no unfinished buildings in the Krasnoyarsk Territory included in the Unified Register of Problem Facilities. The rights of 8,719 citizens were restored in one of two ways – payment of compensation, or the provision of apartments if the problematic building was completed. Unfinished buildings, the shareholders of which have received payments, belong to the federal fund, where they make decisions about the future fate of the objects. They decided to complete the building on Gruntovaya and sell the apartments to new owners. This is the first unfinished building that was erected in the region after the problem with shareholders was resolved,” said First Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the region Maxim Govorushkin.

Let us recall that in 2019 a federal law was adopted on the protection of the rights of citizens participating in shared-equity construction. From now until 2024, the rights of 8,719 citizens who bought apartments in 109 problem buildings have been restored in the region. At the expense of the Territory Development Fund, 4,247 received compensation. For 2,941 people, 13 houses were completed on the street. Solnechnaya in Sosnovoborsk, as well as on Shevchenko, Khabarovskaya, Bauman, Sudostroitelnaya and Karaulnaya streets in Krasnoyarsk. The rights of another 1,531 residents of the region were restored without attracting federal budget funds.
