Deputies of the Krasnoyarsk City Council checked the readiness of children's camps for the summer season
Deputies of the Krasnoyarsk City Council held a visiting meeting of the social policy commission in children's recreation camps.
Deputy Head of the Department of Social Development Andrei Sigida said that 18 thousand young Krasnoyarsk residents will hold part of the holidays in the school camps, 12 thousand will rest outside the city, and 150 will leave for the Black Sea in the summer. Over three thousand teenagers will be able to combine the pleasant with useful and earn the first money in the labor detachment of the head of the city.
The organization of summer holidays for children is one of the priorities in the work of deputies. Even before taking the camps, it is important to discuss all the problems of the upcoming season in order to eliminate local problems.
Deputies annually recommend that the city administrations increase the volume of financing for children's recreation. Thanks to the joint efforts of the executive and representative branches of the authorities of Krasnoyarsk, it was possible to find funds for the modernization of the camps “Taiga” and “Summer”. New residential blocks and canteens are being built there, modern kitchen and other equipment were purchased.
“The interest of young Krasnoyarsk residents in summer suburban rest is high, so we will continue to develop this direction. We will continue to pay special attention to the organization of nutrition and safety of children in the camps so that the parents are calm for their children, ”said Oksana Larionova, chairman of the relevant commission of the City Council.
This year, the demand for a summer vacation exceeds the proposal – as of April 15, the vouchers requested more than 19 thousand Krasnoyarsk residents, and, according to the Department of Social Development, the city can provide only 12 thousand places. About 9 thousand places are municipal camps, and the rest will provide institutions of various forms of ownership based on the results of competitive procedures. This year, Minusinsk camps won in the auction, so about three thousand Krasnoyarsk schoolchildren will go south of the region in the summer.
“This season, as in the past, the ticket will cost the parents of children 30 percent of the cost, this is about 10 thousand rubles. The rest compensates the budget, ”said Andrei Sigid, deputy head of the social development department.
To increase places in the next seasons, the city plans to repair the Birch camp, located in the Mansky district. It was closed 15 years ago due to the emergency state of buildings. About 260 million rubles were allocated from the city treasury for its restoration. They plan to open the camp in 2026.
For more than 18 thousand children in the summer, entertainment events at school grounds are organized in the summer. The expenses will also be partially compensated from the budget: with a full cost of power of 6 thousand rubles per shift on 21 days, parents will pay less than 2 thousand. It is important that this summer 150 children from families of participants in a special military operation will go to rest on the Black Sea-to the city-resort city of Gelendzhik. Tuls to the south will receive children aged 11 to 14 years.
“Preparations for the summer health campaign are held according to the plan. Representatives of the fire service and Rospotrebnadzor, who were also present at the meeting, have no complaints about summer camps. But the municipal commission for the reception of institutions that will begin to work in May will once again carefully check how each camp prepares for the season so that the campaign is as well as last year. We will definitely join the commission, ”said Oksana Larionova.
According to her, in the upcoming season in city camps, the number of seats will increase by 600. There is still a deficit, but the municipality will look for a solution to reduce it. For example, they may begin to develop institutions of the city administration of youth policy. By the way, the visiting meeting took place at the Chaika camp site, which is a division of the youth “center of travelers”. It now has a small main building and two small houses. At the same time, the base is very popular among tourists, athletes and representatives of creative clubs. The guys have their thematic events all year round here. Currently, the relevant management is preparing a project for modernization of the institution so that it can accept even more youth.
The deputy of the City Council, a member of the profile commission Elena Pastushenko is confident that the development of a children's summer vacation program is the most important direction.
“As a child, I was in Artek, an eagle, with great pleasure I went to country camps. Now the conditions, of course, have changed for the better – with everyday life, food and an entertainment program, it has become even better. I constantly hear positive reviews from my parents. But for children, this is probably not the main thing. For the children, a great joy to break away from parents, to feel more adult and independent. Communication with peers, participation in patriotic, cultural, sports class events, new acquaintances are happiness. Therefore, not only suburban stationary, but also tent camps are so popular. I believe that the number of places for a children's summer vacation must be increased, from this everyone will only benefit, ”the deputy said.
