Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his visit to Turkey will be aimed at resuming negotiations with Russia to end the war. According to Reuters, the special envoy of the US President, Steve Witkoff, is also expected to take part in the talks in Istanbul.
Reuters, citing sources close to Putin's special envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, reported that on October 24-26, during the visit of this Kremlin representative to the US, there was a “very productive conversation with Witkoff.”
