The father of the little girl who died at the dentist accuses the clinic of a cover-up: “They were calling the camera boy”. What does he answer to those who blame the parents?

A two-year-old child died at a dental clinic in Bucharest, and the family accuses the doctors of trying to cover up the tragedy. “Call the camera boy”the clinic employees allegedly said, according to the little girl's father. He is asking authorities to review surveillance footage to determine what happened.

Sara's parents are deeply saddened, and the little girl was taken on her last journey on Saturday, in her hometown, Câmpulung Muscel. Andrei Vișoiu, the little girl's father, gave shocking details about what happened at the clinic.

“They kept saying: “Call the boy with the cameras, the boy with the video system”. He came with a key, I don't know what he did, he left. I ask the competent bodies and state institutions to do their duty as transparently as possible and to check the cameras very well, because everything can be seen there and the biggest and most evidence can be taken from there, because the life of a two-year-old child, who was healthy, was taken”said the father, according to Antena 3.

“They wanted to cover up everything. While they were resuscitating the little girl, for an hour or so, when my wife didn't know anything, they had already called the lawyer there, the jurist, probably told her what to do. […] They called the Ambulance, they called the Ambulance, when the child was dead! When the first two nurses came out, […] the reception sent them across the street, because they had another clinic where we operated on the child for the first time, he went to bring him a first aid kit. They didn't even have a first aid kit, do you realize?“ reported the father of the deceased girl.

The father stated that the family had already been worried about the results of the medical tests.

“Indeed, some values ​​had come out in the analyzes that were much higher, we insisted not to go, because people say that we took our child to death, how can we take the child to death?!? He had some very big infections in 2 or 3 teeth and had to go. We didn't take the child to death, we took the child to a good clinic, where we had done an operation there, we wanted the best for the child, but we didn't know that they were killing her. They didn't decide to kill her, in theory, but in practice, forget what happened. I did it with them before and it was ok, there was no problem. They shouldn't have called us, they insisted, and the wife has messages, she also gave them last night, on TV, where she tells them that the values ​​are higher than they should be and it would be better to postpone it. Then they sent a message, they said to come,” said the girl's father.

The girl's mother could not attend the funeral. “They screwed us over. So, it screwed me and my wife up too. The wife could not attend the funeral”, the father also said according to the quoted source.

Cover-up allegations

Andrei Vișoiu claims that, while the clinic staff was trying to revive the girl, for over an hour, the employees would have already called the lawyer and tried to hide what was happening. “They were very stressed with each other when they saw each other, not to see his wife. The wife, you realize, that she felt and looked after them what they were doing”he stated.

The case is being investigated by the police, and a criminal case for manslaughter has been opened. The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, sent the Control Body to the dental clinic, and the College of Dentists started checks to determine if medical protocols and procedures were followed.

DSP: The dental office did not have an operating permit

The representatives point out that all the deep sedation activities carried out in recent years “they were carried out within a unit that operated on the basis of the necessary authorizations and approvals”.

DSP transmitted that SC Crystal Dental Clinic SRL has a sanitary authorization to operate for the workplace in Str. Olteni from Bucharest, but not for the one from Str. Cluceru Udricani, where the two-year-old girl died.

The representatives of the clinic applied to obtain the authorization, but did not submit all the necessary documents to the file.

“On 16.05.2025, SC Crystal Dental Clinic SRL submitted to our institution the file for the issuance of ASF. Following the evaluation of the objective and the analysis of the documents submitted to the file, it was requested to complete the file with the following documents: the approval certificate issued by the Bucharest College of Dentists, the approval certificate issued by the Bucharest College of Physicians for the ATI specialty, the inhalation and analgesia procedure and the registration certificate of activity in the nuclear field issued by CNCAN for dental radiology. Until the present date, the aforementioned documents have not been submitted”DSP transmitted.
