Boguchanskaya HPP gave residents of Kodinsk a New Year's mood

The Christmas tree, decorated with hundreds of balls and two dozen garlands, became a New Year's surprise for the residents of Kodinsk from the team of the Boguchanskaya HPP. A new slide has been installed nearby for children, which will delight young Kodin residents until the end of the New Year holidays. The initiative continued the good tradition of power engineers to bring joy to their fellow countrymen for the holiday: in 2023–2024, under the “Program of Charity and Sponsorship”, at the expense of the station, decorative LED consoles appeared on two streets in the center of Kodinsk.

“New Year is the kindest family holiday, and it is important to spend it cheerfully and brightly with the whole friendly city family. Thousands of citizens will gather around the new Christmas tree, and good wishes and congratulations will be heard. On behalf of the residents of the Kezhemsky district, I thank the management and staff of the Boguchanskaya HPP for this wonderful gift!” – said the head of the Kezhemsky district Oleg Zhelyabin.

According to tradition, the new Christmas tree will be opened with a children's party. The first congratulations will be heard for young residents of Kodin, local creative groups will perform. Concerts and New Year's matinees will continue at the Rassvet House of Culture, where the Boguchanskaya Hydroelectric Power Station has made a significant contribution to the high-quality sound and lighting design. For two years, the station helped the cultural center with the acquisition of modern equipment, which brought the performances of dance, vocal and musical groups to a new level.

All winter, young residents of Kodin will be able to actively engage in sports and have fun in the recreation area of ​​2 microdistricts. The center of attraction for children here has become a large illuminated gable slide; many children play in the “Mountaineer” complex, swings and a special trampoline for the youngest townspeople. All facilities were installed in 2024 with funds from energy workers as part of many years of work to create a comfortable urban environment in the Kezhemsky District.

The program of charitable and sponsorship activities of the Boguchanskaya HPP is annually formed on the basis of requests from citizens, public organizations, municipal institutions and authorities of the cities of Kodinsk and Kezhemsky districts Krasnoyarsk region. In 2025, the Charity and Sponsorship Program was increased to 12.2 million rubles. The municipal authorities of Kezhemsky became partners of the Boguchanskaya HPP in the implementation of the program districts and its constituent settlements, institutions of preschool and additional education, healthcare, sports and culture, non-profit organizations and charitable foundations.
