The Ukrainian intelligence confessed to the Russian military train

“As a result of an explosion on railway tracks, a train with fuel tanks and commodity wagons derailed” – he passed Hur in a statement. “The key logistics thoroughfare for Russian forces in occupied Zaporozhye and Crimea was interrupted.”
The Russian authorities did not comment on the accident. In another event, which took place early in the morning of June 1, two bridges collapsed in Russian Bryan and Kurski, which border with Ukraine.
A road bridge collapsed in the Bryan region, under which a passenger train from Klimów to Moscow passed. According to local authorities, seven people were killed. The governor of the circuit said the bridge “was blown up”.
In Kursk, a railway bridge collapsed in the Żeleznogorsk district when a freight train passed on it. Several wagons fell to the road below, and one train driver was injured.
It is unclear whether the collapse of railway bridges in the Bryan and Kurski region is related to the reports of the derailment of a military train in Melitopol, to which Ukraine confessed. The Russian authorities did not provide further details.
Russia reported several sabotage acts on its railway network since the start of the full invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Moscow had previously blamed Ukraine for similar incidents. Kyiv did not comment on the matter.
