The approximate age of the discovered red clay fragments is about 400 years.
The first tile was found on Tverskaya Street during excavations in 2022-2023. In the XIV-XVII centuries, this territory was part of the White City.
The second tile with a cat in a crown was discovered this year on Nikolskaya Street on the territory of the Chizhevsky courtyard.
The fragments used to line the front wall of the furnaces will be donated to the museum fund.
