We value participation in elections. How do Poles see patriotism? [SONDAŻ]


A study for Onet shows that Poles perceive patriotism through the prism of everyday actions and behaviors. The greatest number of people, 78%, considered participation in the elections to be a key manifestation of attachment to their homeland. Almost equally important for them is representing Poland abroad in a positive way (77%), as well as showing Polish culture and traditional dishes to foreign guests (76%).

Interestingly, as many as 73 percent respondents indicated buying Polish products and services as a form of patriotism. The same number of people attach importance to hanging the flag on national holidays and visiting historical places. Promoting Polish culture on social media was approved by 71 percent. respondents, and 70 percent believes that talking about Poland at home is also an expression of love for the homeland.
