A modern co-working area has opened at school No. 1 in Borodino. This gift to schoolchildren was made by the Melnichenko Foundation and SUEK-Krasnoyarsk.

The spacious hall on the third floor of the school has been transformed into a recreational space that combines modern design and functionality. The grand opening brought together the school staff, students of Profklassov.FM and their senior comrades – representatives of the Borodino open-pit mine.

The director of the educational institution, Anna Medvedeva, and the manager of the city-forming enterprise, Yuri Kilin, together cut the red ribbon, opening access to the new recreation.

“I am sure that here you will not only relax, but exchange experiences and make plans for the future,” noted Yuri Kilin, manager of the Borodino open-pit mine, addressing the participants of the celebration. — I wish you successful studies, so that when leaving the school, each of you clearly understands what he will connect his life with. We are waiting for you at our enterprises!”

Students were shown a well-designed seating area equipped with comfortable furniture, charging stations and multimedia equipment. Particular attention was drawn to thematic stands telling the history of enterprises in the chemical, energy and mining industries of Russia and motivational posters about professions for future graduates.

“I am delighted with such transformations. This is incredibly cool! — Maria Sanina, a student of the 9th Profklass.FM, shares her impressions. “Everything down to the smallest detail is provided here.” Yes, in general, you can host a lot of different interesting events here.”

The opening of a unique space has become a symbol of trust and partnership between school and business, a contribution to the development of a promising career for the younger generation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. SUEK-Krasnoyarsk enterprises always pay special attention to this. In 2005, coal miners were among the first in the region to launch a project of corporate labor teams, in which the career guidance component was strengthened in 2024. Now high school students spend a lot of time directly at enterprises, becoming familiar with production processes and professions.

Since 2013, specialized classes have been operating in Borodino, Nazarovo and Sharypovo. Since last year, the project has been aimed at children who, after 9th grade, go to college and are ready to master working professions.
