Krasnoyarsk Territory entered the top 25 regions of the Russian Federation that are promising for employment

Analysts from the largest online recruiting platform in Russia, hh.ru, presented the results of the Rating of the country’s regions by employment prospects at the beginning of the first quarter of 2026.

Experts assessed the regions according to six parameters. This is the ratio of the number of resumes to vacancies, the salary offered, the cost of living, the unemployment rate and the number of candidates ready and not ready to move. The Krasnoyarsk Territory came in 21st place and scored 75.9 points. According to hh.ru data for the last three months, there are 9.6 resumes per vacancy in the region, while the official unemployment rate according to Rosstat is 1.4% in the region.

The median salary offered reached the level of 86,800 rubles, and the cost of living for the working-age population is more than four times lower – 21,022 rubles. It is significant that among local applicants, only 8.6% are ready to accept a job offer from another region, and the majority are considering employment in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Among the regions of the Siberian Federal District, the highest positions in the ranking were taken by Omsk (14th place) and Novosibirsk regions (17th place).

The Republic of Tatarstan took 1st place, followed by the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Amur Region. The regions of the North are also among the most promising for employment.

Experts noted that the capital regions showed good dynamics compared to last year. Moscow was in 11th place, and St. Petersburg in 8th.
