Specialists of the Krasnoyarsk Rosselkhoznadzor found in the assortment of 22 online stores of seeds of vegetables of non-existent varieties.

So, for example, in July 2025, employees of the department revealed the fact of implementation through the Internet store Tomati. Tomatoes ”435 varieties of vegetable crops, the varieties of which are not included in the state register of varieties and hybrids of agricultural plants admitted to use.

Among these seeds are 318 varieties of tomatoes, 51 grades of sweet pepper, 39 varieties of cucumber, 14 varieties of carrots, 6 varieties of potatoes, 5 varieties of cabbage white and 2 varieties of beet beetroot.

The list includes:

• tomatoes: “beef from the bush”, “dumplings”, “the harsh melon of the Germans of the Volga region”, “Kurochka-Nesushka”;
• Peppers: “Red fence”, “Georgian nose”, “wow”, “Asti yellow”;
• Cucumbers: “Karelian cones”, “tenant”, “bouquet for mom”;
• Potatoes: “Lasunok”, “Piroshka”.
