More than 50 special vehicles worked on the roads of Krasnoyarsk at night after the cold snap (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, due to a sharp cold snap, the main highways were treated with anti-icing material all night, a specialized motor transport company in the city reported.

A total of 55 units of special equipment were replaced. First of all, road workers treated areas with a high accident rate: descents, ascents, bridges, overpasses, roundabouts and intersections.

“De-icing treatment on sidewalks was carried out locally – only in areas with the highest traffic. Slippery conditions remain, we ask drivers and pedestrians to be careful.” — clarified by JSC “SATP».

Let us remind you that on the night of November 11, it became sharply cold in Krasnoyarsk. Today during the day forecast to reach −7 °C, no precipitation. Wind gusts can reach up to 8-13 m/s. There is ice on the roads. However, the cooling will be short-lived. On Wednesday and Thursday the air temperature during the day will rise again from 0 to +1 °C.
