Two dead and one injured following an accident in Dolj. One of the drivers was on the wrong side at the time of the impact
A road accident took place on Sunday, November 9, on DN 56, between the towns of Podari and Radovan in Dolj county, involving two cars. The two drivers lost their lives as a result of the impact.

The investigation carried out by the Police on the spot shows that a 20-year-old young man from the Desa commune, who was driving a car from Craiova to Calafat, outside the Podari village, entered the opposite direction, his car crashing head-on into a car driven by a 36-year-old man from the Perişor commune.
“As a result of the road accident, unfortunately, the two drivers died. Also, a 30-year-old woman from the municipality of Craiova, a passenger in the second car, was transported to the hospital“, inform Dolj Police officials.
Following the accident, DN 56 was blocked. The police opened a criminal case under the aspect of committing the crimes of culpable homicide and culpable bodily harm, the investigations being continued to establish exactly the circumstances in which the event occurred.
