The former chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko spoke about the measures of protection from the new strain of Koronavirus Stratus, Yamal 1 reports with reference to the public news service.
According to the Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the symptoms of Stratus are similar to the previous Covid-19 options. The strain appeared in April and has already lost the pandemic potential, but the traditional increase in incidence is expected in the fall.
Academician Onishchenko recommended to dress in the weather as preventive measures, use medical masks, if necessary, observe sleep mode and maintain a balanced diet.
The publication notes that in terms of the severity of the current, a new strain does not differ from previous coronavirus options. Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor denied rumors about the new virus with the symptoms of bloody coughing, emphasizing that we are talking about the already famous Covid-19 strain.
