Analysts estimate that in 2029 the animal products market will reach a value of almost PLN 13 billion, which means an increase of 30% within four years.

The newspaper pointed out that for the needs of pets, Poles spend “much more than when shopping for children's products, such as diapers or food.”

There are more pets than children at home

Moreover, as many as 39 percent of consumers plan to further increase spending on pet products,” the newspaper notes.

“Rz” also reported that A consumer in Poland in 2024 spent an average of EUR 57 on products for their pets. That's about half the amount spent by animal guardians in France or the UK. Residents of Romania also spend more money for this purpose – EUR 59 and the Czech Republic – EUR 69.
