A term deposit from Aion Bank is a novelty in the offer. The deposit can be set up for 3 to 24 months. The fixed percentage rate ranges from 5.10 to 5.30 percent. per year. The bank also offers deposits in the euro currency and American dollars.
April 16 this year Aion Bank has published an additional interest rate on time deposits. Until now, the only typical savings product in the bank's offer was a savings account, which is currently interest -bearing at 5.00 percent. per year.
Rates above 5 percent annually
Rates for Term deposits in PLN exceed 5 percent per year. Depending on the period, they are as follows:
- 3 months – 5.10 percent per year,
- 6 months – 5.20 percent per year,
- 9 months – 5.30 percent per year,
- 12 months – 5.20 percent per year,
- 24 months – 5.10 percent per year.

The interest rate is fixed throughout the duration of the deposit. The maximum amount for which you can set up a deposit is PLN 1 million. The deposit is automatically renewable. The deposit can be set up if you have a personal account at Aion Bank.
Frontally interest -bearing currency deposits
The bank has introduced not only term deposits in its native currency, but also EURO deposits and American dollars. The interest rate that accompanies them is:
- 3 months – 1.10 percent per year (EUR), 1.50 percent per year (USD),
- 6 months – 1.20 percent per year (EUR), 2.10 percent per year (USD),
- 9 months – 1.25 percent per year (EUR), 2.50 percent per year (USD),
- 12 months – 1.40 percent per year (EUR), 2.75 percent per year (USD),
- 24 months – 1.50 percent per year (EUR), 3.00 percent on the year (USD).
The maximum amount of currency deposits is 250,000, respectively. EUR and 250,000 USD. Also, and in this case the fixed interest rate applies and the deposits are renewable. The status of the deposit can be changed in the bank's mobile application.
Aion Bank foreign currency deposits are favorable compared to the competition, in particular for longer periods. These are the highest interest -bearing deposits for 12 months (USD) and 24 months (EUR and USD).
The funds paid to Aion Bank are protected by the Belgian equivalent of BFG, i.e. Fonds de Garantie Pour Les Services Publics / Het Garantiefonds – Guarantee Fund (BE).
