CTP, about PSD's luxury cars: “The fundamental source of pleasure for the pesedist mahar”

Cristian Tudor Popescu commented on the statements of the PSD deputy Răzvan Ciortea when he was asked by the investigative website Snoop about the luxury car he drives, which does not appear in the wealth declaration. The journalist claims that the “pleasures” invoked by the deputy show that the legacy taken over by the PSD from the communist nomenclature.

“The notable pesedist Ciortan, or something like that, has a car that costs 200,000 euros. When asked why, Insul answers with a sincere smile: “We have to enjoy ourselves… That at 70 years old it doesn't matter anymore…”. Which got me thinking about the question: what is the pleasure(s) of the successful pesedist? Beyond political gargling, beyond left and right, progressivism and nationalism, lies, bowing, deception, bribery, influence, bossiness, demagoguery, because these are means, not ends, what strong pleasure does he get by doing all this?”, writes CT Popescu in a post on Facebook, entitled “PSD Pleasure”.

“To read in their eyes the pism, the impotence and the servitude”

The tradition currently invoked by the social democrats has its origins in the communist nomenclature that enjoyed privileges inaccessible to the common man.

“Being in the Ceausist nomenclature meant having certain things: staying in a villa in Primaverii or in an interwar manorial house in the center of the city, owning a car, if possible a Western car (it's a “volvar”, it was said respectfully, meaning it has a Volvo), if not a Dacia, but at least in small numbers, but at least black, but at least with a driver, to have access to shops and restaurants with a “closed circuit”. Be able to store meats in the freezer, kent, whiskey and real coffee in the library. Drink Pepsi whenever you want,” says Popescu.

Possession of goods or access to certain facilities was not in itself a source of pleasure for the privileged under the communist regime.

“If all the inhabitants of the socialist homeland had also had all this, then the satisfaction of the nomenclaturist would have decreased dramatically. The essential thing is not to have it, the essential thing is that many, many fellow citizens do not have it even close. To read in their eyes the pism, helplessness and servitude – maybe something is thrown at them too”, believes the journalist.

The second source of feeding the vanity of the nomenclaturist was to see his orders executed, without having to justify them except through the prism of the function he had.

“That's how things are with today's pesedist leader (well understood, we find “pesedists” in the other parties as well), except that it's about cars that make Dacia look like a toy, villas as big as a castle, in the country or in Dubai, Miami, watches that cost as much as an apartment, stays in Monaco, countless plots of land, special pensions and huge state salaries, millions of euros in accounts or in addition. It's just that the prime minister justifies his decisions like this: “Don't worry, let the non-halites vote, my genital organ hurts from the budget deficit!”. And he grins even now, full of satisfaction”, writes Cristian Tudor Popescu.

“Proceeding as in quantum physics, if we unify the two sources of pleasure, “It's because I want it” and “You don't have what I have”, the fundamental source of pleasure for the pesedist magnate results: to be able to HUMILIATE as many people as possible, while declaring himself to be their benefactor”, concluded CT Popescu.

Ciortea: “It is our principle to have fun”

The character the journalist is referring to is PSD deputy from Cluj Răzvan Iulian Ciortea, who drives a BMW XM car, which is not declared, because it belongs to a medical device company in Cluj. The politician's wife drives a BMX X5, undeclared because it is on her mother-in-law's company. The money in the accounts, in turn, is more than the money earned because it comes from a donation.

On October 22, the MP was filmed at the Palace of Parliament while riding a BMX XM, a machine with a market value of over 100,000 euros.

The BMW XM luxury car was “my dream”, the PSD MP describes his purchase. “You know we have one more dream in life. This is my dream,” says Răzvan Ciortea when he talks about the car from which he makes the statement.

He claims he chose a BMW XM because it is a safe car and he travels a lot.

“As long as I have a salary and work and I can afford it, I do it now, later I'm not interested. We're interested in it being legal, otherwise I'm not interested in anything at all… I'm of principle that we should enjoy ourselves, that at 70 years old I don't think it matters anymore”, the deputy from Cluj, who turned 49 this year, presents his philosophy of life.
