In Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a drunk driver without a license was put under arrest. This was reported to the regional police.
Last weekend, while patrolling one of the central streets of Yeniseisk, the traffic police crew noticed a VAZ car. The police followed the vehicle, the driver of which made an abrupt stop at the sight of the patrol car.
The driver of the domestic vehicle was a 37-year-old man with obvious signs of intoxication. Using databases, police determined that the motorist did not have a driver's license.
“When compiling administrative materials, the citizen tried to mislead the inspectors by denying the fact of driving a car. The offender was asked to undergo an intoxication test. The device readings were 1.12 mg/l, which is six times higher than the permissible limit,” law enforcement officials said.
A protocol was drawn up against the man under Part 3 of Art. 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for driving a vehicle by a driver who does not have a driving license and is intoxicated. The offender's car was placed in a special parking lot.
By decision of the Yenisei District Court, the offender was sentenced to administrative arrest for 15 days.
