The sink has stopped embarrassing me in front of my guests: these 4 ways will remove plaque and rust – only water and available products

If your sink has limescale, rusty spots on the faucet, or dull stains, don't rush to buy a chlorine solution. Everything can be washed with what you already have at home. Here are four proven methods that will make the surface shine and the air remain fresh.

Method number 1:

Pour half a cup of white vinegar into the sink, especially in areas with plaque. Leave for 15 minutes. Take an old toothbrush and scrub the joints, drains, and hard-to-reach corners. Rinse off with warm water. The surface will become smooth and shiny.

Method number 2:

Mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. You will get a paste. Apply it to rust or dark spots around the drain. After 10-15 minutes, rub with a sponge and rinse. Even old rust will come off without effort.

Method number 3:

Pour baking soda onto a damp sponge and rub the entire sink in a circular motion. This will gently polish the surface, remove grease and minor dirt.

Method number 4:

Dissolve 1 tablespoon of salt in a glass of warm water. Soak a rag in the solution and wipe the faucet and faucet. Salt acts as a mild abrasive and removes plaque without scratching the chrome.

These methods are suitable for any sink: stainless steel, ceramic, artificial stone.
