The crime occurred in April. A Norilsk woman was waiting for a bus to leave her friend when the accused offered to walk her home. The woman let the stranger into her apartment. After a short conversation, the hostess went to bed, leaving the guest alone.

Taking advantage of the situation, the man stole jewelry and a bank card for a total amount of 340 thousand rubles. He sold the jewelry to a pawnshop and paid with his card in several stores.

The police established that the attacker had previously been prosecuted for property crimes. The Investigation Department opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”.

The Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Krasnoyarsk found the man guilty and sentenced him to five years in prison. The verdict has already entered into legal force.
