In this way The Polish Blue Chips index has set the highest closing course for 14 yearsbut he did not overcome the intra -seis maximum (2,897.73 points) of May 12. WIG after a growth by 1.58% set a new record of all timeduring the session reaching a ceiling of 106 386.62 points.

The increases in stock prices on the Warsaw court certainly favored new records on Wall Street, where S&PC after opening the listing improved the historic peak designated on Wednesday. Nasdaq Composite did the same. Investors from behind the Atlantic have positively adopted poor data from the labor market, which showed a very low increase in employment in the private sector. The main exchanges in Europe also ended the day.
We are a surprise for a certain surprise for banks' shares to a slightly unexpected Wednesday reduction in interest rates at the NBP. But on Thursday, the chairman of the Monetary Policy Council Adam Glapiński did not want to determine the cutting of the feet also in September, and he diverged from the suggestion of starting the entire cycle of interest rates. The WIG-Banki index went up by 3.11% and it was today the second strongest sectoral index on the WSE (after Wig-Leki, which gained 3.52%).
In the group of 20 largest companies, it was the banks that opened the table of the most expaining values. Santander's course increased by as much as 5.9%, Alior by 4.7%, and Pekao by 3%. Only four qualities with WIG 20 ended the day under the line. These were KGHM papers (-0.8%), CCC (-0.6%) and LPP (-0.6%) and CD Projekt (-0.1%).
Turnover on the wide market was summarized at PLN 2.4 billion. Of this, nearly two billion fell on WIG20 shares. Smaller companies also presented less impressive. mWIG40 has gained a decent 1.4%, but SWIG80 managed to grow only by 0.5%. However, it must be returned that both indexes are very short of the May peaks.
The individual companies stood out by almost 10% of JSW. Jastrzębska company announced the re -submitting the application for reimbursement of tax on extraordinary profits. JSW demands a return of PLN 1.6 billion collected by the government as part of the “solidarity premium”.
In turn, Scanway's quotations increased by almost 9%. The Wrocław company was chosen by the European Space Agency (ESA) to process photos of the moon surface. The value of the contract amounts to half a million euros, and its implementation will last until 2027.
It is also worth remembering that on Friday Americans celebrate their independence day and there will be no session at Wall Street. This may also mean lower investors' activity on the WSE.
