– The Polish village today needs not only words, but a real action towards our food safety – said the politician. He also stated that our country would not be safe if “it is not safe food”.
Nawrocki informed that in his bill, he refers to the moratorium expirying in 2026 for the sale of land, belonging to the agricultural ownership of the Treasury. – The Act on the protection of the Polish countryside calls on the parliamentary majority to extend the moratorium on the ban on the sale of Polish soil and I signed it today – he added.
The president noted that In the Act, he also calls for the amendment of the preamble of the Act on shaping the agricultural system, which he defined the “Constitution of Polish Agriculture”. – I want to adopt the act on shaping the agricultural system with a new preamble, which will give us a tool for a potential response in a situation where a contract with Mercosur countries enters into force and when the Polish market will be flooded by products from Ukraine again – Nawrocki noted.
Politician announced activities on the protection of the village during the campaign. One of the election demands of the Nawrocki campaign was: “Stop liquidation of Polish agriculture – not for the Mercosur agreement, not for the liquidation of the EU budget on agriculture, not for green order in agriculture, not for the chain law, not for the uncontrolled flow of food from Ukraine. Polish land in Polish hands.”
