A former traffic police officer from Minusinsk will be put on trial for driving while intoxicated. The prosecutor's office reports this.
The 52-year-old ex-deputy traffic police platoon commander was already prosecuted for a similar violation in July 2025. After that incident, the court fined him 45 thousand rubles and deprived him of his rights for 1.5 years.
A month later, the man got behind the wheel while drunk again. This time the court seized a LEXUS RX 300 worth 1.5 million rubles.
The defendant admitted guilt. The criminal case under Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was sent to the Minusinsk City Court for consideration on the merits.
