The head of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, denied the presence of signs of recession in the Russian economy. Speaking in the State Duma on October 30, she said that the current situation does not meet the classic criteria of an economic recession.
According to Yamal 1, Nabiullina especially emphasized the stability of key indicators of the labor market, which traditionally serve as indicators of the onset of recessionary processes. The head of the regulator noted that these indicators allow us to conclude that there are no signs of economic recession in the country.
Also, according to her, the Russian economy demonstrates stability despite external challenges.
