Currently, 294 contracts for the purchase of housing have been concluded. Most of it is through participation in shared construction, the mayor’s office reported.

1.3 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal and regional budgets to purchase housing for orphans. The funds are provided as part of the implementation of the state program “Creating conditions for providing affordable and comfortable housing to citizens of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.” The queue is formed by the regional Ministry of Education, and the urban planning department acts as the municipal customer and concludes contracts for the purchase of residential premises in the manner prescribed by current legislation.

Alexandra Kapustenko, one of those who received an apartment this year, is now a woman living in Solnechny:

“In May they called and said that you could pick up the keys. I was so looking forward to this apartment! It was incredible happiness! For the first months I didn’t even believe that this was my apartment. The emotions are indescribable. The apartment is good. I’m glad that the administration was in touch the entire time we were waiting for the apartment, giving advice and support. And to this day they advise me if I have questions about how to pay, for example. Now I’m settling in, buying furniture, building a nest,” the Krasnoyarsk woman shared her joy.

This year, 122 apartments were purchased for orphans in Solnechny, and housing was also purchased in the Leninsky, Oktyabrsky, Kirov and Sverdlovsk districts. The area of these apartments varies from 22 to 42 square meters.

“This year we plan to purchase 11 more apartments for orphans; additional funding has been allocated for them from the regional budget. We have time to register the property and hand over the keys to the new owners by the end of the year. Next year we will be allocated 1.2 billion for these purposes. We tentatively plan that we will purchase 240 apartments. But we hope that we will be able to increase their number,” said Sergei Shikunov, deputy head of the city and head of the urban planning department.

Let us recall that at the beginning of the year in Krasnoyarsk they planned to purchase only 256 apartments for orphans. However, now, due to the existing savings based on the results of auctions, as well as additional financing, more than 300 people want to provide housing.
