Coach Leo Grozavu announced that the goal of FC Botoșani this season is to save from relegation, although the team is in first place in the SuperLiga, after 2-0 with FC Hermannstadt in the 14th round.
FC Botoșani has accumulated 31 points and is 12 lengths away from Farul Constanța, the team in 7th place, the first in the play-out. After the victory over Marius Măldărășanu's team on Monday, Grozavu praised the Greek goalkeeper Giannis Anestis, who made several saves.

FC Botoșani will play in the 15th stage, the last of the regular season round, on the field of the Petrolul Ploiești team. The match is scheduled for Monday, November 3, from 20:30.
