Expert: revising the limit prices for electricity is a step of the Regulator in the right direction.
Doctor of Economic Sciences, energy expert Andrian Prokip considers the revision of price caps by the Energy Regulator to be a logical and inevitable step in the current conditions.
According to the expert, revision of restrictions is primarily a matter of energy security, not tariff policy.
“So the revision of price caps primarily strengthens the reliability of electricity supply in conditions of capacity shortages, and by no means means a steady increase in market prices,” explained Prokip.
