New Amazon solar and wind farms. The Polish energy sector is gaining support

The new projects include two photovoltaic farms in Lasocice and Recław, with a total capacity of 164 MW. R.Power is responsible for their implementation, and the concluded agreement is one of the largest publicly announced transactions in the solar energy sector in Poland. The third investment is an onshore wind farm in Annopol, where Amazon purchased 28 MW of power. Construction of this farm, led by OX2, began in August 2025 and is scheduled for completion in 2027.
Thanks to Amazon's involvement in renewable energy projects, developers can be sure that the energy they produce will find a recipient. Once the investment is launched, new renewable energy sources will power the Polish grid, supporting the decarbonization of the energy mix and bringing benefits to both enterprises and individual consumers.
