February 19 11:33

Employees of the Boguchanskaya HPP donated a new children's book by the famous writer Valentina Dyogteva, “The Wonderful School of Lap Lapych,” to educational institutions and libraries of the Kezhemsky Municipal District. The book, prepared by the RusHydro Group and the Samokat publishing house, became the third story about the forest worker beaver Kuvshinkin and his assistants.

Previously, power engineers donated more than a dozen popular science and artistic publications of the RusHydro Group to regional institutions. Works by the best authors, addressed to young readers of different ages, help children and teenagers love books and gain new knowledge about nature, technology and energy.

The first to learn about the new adventures of their favorite heroes were the students of Kodino school No. 4 named after. V.N. Zabortseva. During the presentation game, second-graders were shown a video story by Valentina Dyogteva about how the book was created, who became the prototype for the main character, and why the beavers decided to build a school.

Children and adults remembered the best stories from their school lives, imagined the school of the future and learned how to protect themselves from scammers not in a fairy tale, but in real life.

“The Wonderful School of Lap Lapych” is a fascinating journey into the world of knowledge, friendship and discovery, written in a language that is lively and understandable for children. Colorful illustrations will help primary schoolchildren fall in love with reading and develop their imagination. Education and upbringing of children are the most important investments in the future, and thanks to a good book, a child’s curiosity and desire to create grows. We are glad that the “Wonderful School” is available to every little resident of Kodinsk and the entire district,” noted Tatyana Namazova, specialist in the department of strategic communications and public relations at the Boguchanskaya HPP.

JSC “Boguchanskaya HPP” regularly donates books published by the RusHydro Group to educational and cultural institutions, and to the library of the Kezhemsky District – books purchased with the station's funds to update and replenish its book collections.

In 2025, station employees donated to schools, kindergartens and branches of the Kezhem regional library the second part of a fairy tale written by V. Degteva and several editions of developmental and educational books published with funds from RusHydro by the charitable foundation “Illustrated Books for Little Blind Children.”

International Book Day is a modern holiday, the idea of which appeared in 2012. It is dedicated to the popularization of children's literature and has received support from parents, teachers, writers, publishers, representatives of cultural and charitable organizations from around the world.

As part of the charity program, RusHydro has already published 13 popular science and fiction books for children and youth. The books do not go on sale, but they can be found in children's libraries or received as a prize for winning a competition.
