Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed on Telegram that Russian anti-aircraft shot down three drones flying towards the capital. He said emergency workers were working at the sites where the debris fell.
Russia's defense ministry said on Friday morning that its forces shot down 111 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 34 flying over the Rostov region on the Ukrainian border in the west.
The ministry reported only one drone shot down over the Moscow region, not three as the mayor of the Russian capital said.
