In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a businessman lost his land and money due to an illegal deal with the administration

The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoturansky district, through the court, achieved the return of a land plot and six real estate properties that were illegally sold by the local administration to a private entrepreneur.

According to the supervisory authority, the businessman purchased a plot of 1.4 hectares and buildings for 3 million rubles. However, the administration relied on the appraiser's report, which did not have the appropriate status. The real value of the property turned out to be almost 900 thousand rubles higher.

In addition, it turned out that there were other municipal premises on the same site that were not planned to be put up for auction. The entrepreneur intended to receive the entire complex at a reduced price.

The prosecutor's office filed a claim with the arbitration court to declare the purchase and sale agreement invalid. The court of first instance satisfied the demands, returning the land and buildings to the district.

The defendant tried to appeal the decision, but the Third Arbitration Court of Appeal rejected the complaint. The entrepreneur lost both his property and the money paid for it.

Currently, verification of the actions of administration officials who organized trading with violations is ongoing. Criminal case against the appraiser under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (large-scale fraud) is completed, he faces up to 6 years in prison.
