A resident of Krasnoyarsk complained to Rospotrebnadzor about the lack of price tags in the Kari store located on Televizornaya Street. According to the buyer, in order to find out the cost of the shoes, the sellers suggested that he scan the barcode on them himself.

“During an on-site examination conducted by our specialists, these facts were confirmed. In the sales area there were several pairs of shoes and sandals, on which there was no information about their cost. Based on this fact, KARI LLC was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements,” Rospotrebnadzor said.
The department recalled that in in accordance with the Law on consumer protection the seller must provide the necessary information, including the price in rubles and the conditions for purchasing goods, and is also obliged ensure the availability of price tags indicating the name and cost per unit.
