In the Ilansko-Nizhneingashsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police used their service weapons to detain a drunken traffic violator.
The incident happened the night before. On the R-255 Siberia highway, the patrol noticed a Toyota car swerving; its driver ignored the request to stop and accelerated, trying to escape.
“In an effort to evade pursuit, the motorist committed a number of serious administrative violations, such as driving into oncoming traffic and speeding. To suppress the driver’s actions, traffic police inspectors were forced to use their service weapons. Only then did he stop the vehicle. On the spot, it turned out that the 23-year-old man was intoxicated – the breathalyzer showed 0.899 mg/l,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Several administrative materials were drawn up against the driver and he was arrested for 12 days, and his car was placed in a special parking lot.
