The Donskoy Monastery, the Church of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God in Alekseevsky, the main house of the Okhotnikovs’ city estate on Prechistenka are being restored in Moscow. In total, about 500 cultural heritage sites will be restored to their original form.
In the Church of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God in Alekseevsky, decorative elements were repaired, the plaster was updated and the tiled stoves were restored. In the Donskoy Monastery, three towers and spans of the eastern and southern walls are being improved.
In a house with mezzanines on Staraya Basmannaya, the facade lamps and stucco molding will be redone, the base will be cleaned and cracks will be removed. In the main house of the Okhotnikovs' urban estate on Prechistenka, the walls, vaults, cornices will be tidied up and the stucco will be cleaned. And in the city estate of Ya. A. Polyakov in Bolshoi Nikolopeskovsky Lane, the roof will be repaired and the windows will be updated.
Next in line for completion is the Fyodor Chaliapin Memorial Museum. Here they are finishing the repair of the stucco facades and the veranda on the courtyard side.
