MegaFon records an increase in subscriber transitions in the Krasnoyarsk Territory while maintaining the tariff

MegaFon notes an increase in transitions in the Krasnoyarsk Territory subscribers with the same tariff.
Russians aged 35-44 have become the most active category of citizens who transfer their tariff when switching from another operator. At the same time, about 40% of such clients not only continue to use the usual conditions, but also become organizers of family groups and share service packages with loved ones, according to MegaFon analytics.
The ability to switch to an operator not only while maintaining the number, but also with the usual terms of communication, was introduced for the first time in the telecom market by MegaFon two months ago. During this time, it was used in all regions of the country, but the greatest interest in “mobile cloning” was shown by residents of Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Chechnya, Bashkiria and Tatarstan. The top 10 regions also included the Krasnodar Territory, Dagestan, Samara, Sverdlovsk and Orenburg regions.
Among Siberians, the operator’s new service has become the most popular among residents of Tuva. Next come Novosibirsk, Kuzbass and Omsk residents. Krasnoyarsk residents are also interested in “mobile cloning.” They are on the 32nd line – between the Tver and Tomsk regions. At the same time, subscribers from the Altai Republic showed the least interest – they are in last place in the all-Russian rating.
According to anonymized data studied by MegaFon analysts, men were the most decisive in changing operators – they filled out such requests 1.5 times more often than women. This option is most actively used by subscribers aged 35–44 years – they account for 30% of all transfers with the same tariff. This is followed by residents 45–55 years old (20%) and 25–34 years old (19%), which indicates wide demand among different age groups – from young audiences to mature consumers who value predictable costs and quality of communication.
Interestingly, 37% of clients who switched while maintaining the tariff immediately became organizers of family groups. Owners of MegaFamily can add relatives and friends to it, even if they live in different regions, and use communication service packages with them. Thus, the trend towards family consumption of services has become another incentive for the decision to change the operator.
“We made the transition to MegaFon as simple and convenient as possible. Now customers can choose an operator with the best coverage and Internet speed, while maintaining their number, their usual tariff and its cost. This format turned out to be relevant throughout the country from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok – this reflects how much real freedom of choice is in demand in the communications market,” noted Maria Faustova, director of the B2C products department at MegaFon.
To make the transition, just go to the service page on the MegaFon website and upload a screenshot of your tariff. After verification, the client receives a promotional code, which can be entered in the “I have a promotional code” field or shown to the employee at the salon when applying for a SIM card.
