About 30 residents of Krasnoyarsk encountered problems when trying to return funds invested in the credit consumer cooperative “Your Money”. Since the beginning of October, the organization has stopped paying interest on deposits, and its office has closed.
According to Channel 7 – Krasnoyarsk, the investors turned to law enforcement agencies after the chairman of the cooperative stopped communicating. At first he promised to return from a business trip and solve all the problems, but soon disappeared.
Only those whose deposit amount did not exceed 100 thousand rubles received money. The victims claim that some clients invested up to 7 million rubles.
According to the Central Bank, the organization lost its license back in August, but continued to accept funds. According to the victims, the cooperative operated for 12 years and there were no complaints about its work.
The police are conducting an investigation into citizens' complaints. Law enforcement officers received more than 30 complaints.
