Road repair season ends in Krasnoyarsk – contractors 5 days leftto be on time complete the work within the contractual deadlines by October 15.
According to the mayor's office,Currently there are 4 objects in work: Komsomolsky Avenue, Karatanov, Shumyatsky streets and the passage from Molokov to Oktyabrskaya along the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk park.
At Komsomolskoye the main repairs have been completed, all that remains is lay asphalt on the sidewalk. Karatanov Street needs to be asphalted – if the weather permits, road workers hope to complete the work on time.
“Two other projects are already overdue: the contractor was supposed to finish them on September 15 and will now be forced to pay a fine for each day of delay,” the mayor’s office said. — Thus, with a delay of almost a month, work on Shumyatsky Street is being completed: the laying of the top layer of asphalt is now being completed, all that remains is to re-asphalt the sidewalk, restore the approaches to the pedestrian crossing in the area of building No. 5. As part of the repairs, traffic optimization in the area of Building No. 2 was carried out, a roundabout was organized with the widening of an additional lane from the ring to May 9 Street. Regarding travel from Molokova Street to Oktyabrskaya, then to improve safety it is necessary to make asphalt artificial road humps and restore landscaping. The contractor promised to start work next week.”
Let us remind you that in 2025 it was planned to renovate 56 objects in Krasnoyarsk city street and road networkbut due to savings, the total number was increased to 76. The quality of the new asphalt is assessed by three laboratories: the customer, the contractor and an independent one. If complaints arise at the control stage, the contractor eliminates the comments – without this, the work will not be accepted and will not be paid for.
