On May 18, the head of the occupation “administration” of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, announced on Telegram that the “head” of the Skadovsky region, collaborator Alexander Dudka, was wounded as a result of Ukrainian shelling.
Saldo did not specify when exactly he was wounded, indicating only that it happened between May 15 and May 17.
“In Skadovsk, during a UAV strike, the head of the Skadovsky district, Alexander Dudka, was injured. He was hospitalized with a mine explosion injury and a shrapnel wound to the head,” he noted.
In September 2024, the Center for Investigative Journalism talked about Dudka, who in September 2023 took part in the illegal elections of deputies of the occupation “Council of Deputies of the Skadovsky Municipal District” of the first convocation. Subsequently, he was appointed as a so-called deputy from the “United Russia” of the illegitimate president of the aggressor country of Russia, Vladimir Putin. In October of the same year, Dudka was appointed head of the occupation administration of Skadovsk for five years.
He himself comes from the Poltava region, where he served in the criminal investigation department for a long time.
Before he went over to the side of the invaders, Dudka headed the Lazurnoe utility company in the Lazurnensky resort community of the Skadovsky district. After this, he became the second main representative of the occupation authorities in the village after the local head-traitor Sergei Belik.
Dudka became famous after he publicly threatened to deprive all residents of Lazurny of insulin and other vital medications who, for one reason or another, had not received Russian passports, investigators recalled. Then the video of his address was published by the Siren channel.
The Security Service of Ukraine informed Dudka in absentia of suspicion of collaboration.
