On September 7, as part of a large-scale ecological and music festival “Singing Pillars”, the regional operator Rostteh organized an educational site, where everyone was able to master the principles of separate collection of waste in a fascinating game form.
The main tool for learning was a specially designed board game, with the help of which the importance of proper sorting of garbage and the principles of the modern system of waste management system are explained in an accessible form.
The festival participants enthusiastically plunged into the gameplay. With the help of a mentor, they learned to distinguish between waste types, learned about the rules of sorting and the consequences of improper disposal. Each participant received not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills in handling various types of garbage.
The organizers of the event noted the high interest of visitors to environmental topics. Many guests of the festival admitted that the game helped them look at the garbage in a new way and inspired a new habit-to divide the waste.
“The site aroused great interest among the guests of the festival and was in demand throughout the entire event. And this means that the topic of separate garbage collection is relevant for citizens, ”said the administration of the Sverdlovsk district.
The organizers of the festival prepared diverse platforms:
- “Art Yarmarka”;
- practical classes on yoga;
- platform of the bard song;
- location of eastern culture;
- Various thematic sites on environmental subjects.
In addition to the sites on environmental subjects, the guests of the event were made by the creative groups of the city and the ensemble from Mongolia “Ethet”. The cultural program ended with the performance of songs of the vocal groups “Summer Rain” and “Courage”.
