Travel warning for Romanians who go to Bulgaria. Circulation restrictions due to the Red Code of heavy rains

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informs Romanian citizens who are located, transit or intend to travel to Bulgaria that restrictions on road traffic are expected as a result of meteorological warning codes for abundant precipitation.
According to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday, in accordance with the data transmitted by the National Institute of Bulgarian Meteorology and Hydrology, for October 8, a Red Code warning, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Razgrad and Silistra and o Orange Code for Vratsa regions, Dobrich.
“In context, restrictions on road traffic are expected,” says the quoted source, according to Agerpres.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that additional information on the weather status, road situation, customs regulations, electronic vignettes and border crossing points can be accessed on the official pages of the Bulgarian authorities and on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as follows:

The coastal area of Bulgaria was also targeted by a day of a red code for torrential rains, due to the Barbara storm, which brings extreme weather phenomena, where five counties and Bucharest were also targeted by a red code warning.
