Ilie Bolojan, consultations with the big producers and processors to support the production and promote the Romanian products
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan had a round of discussions with representatives of the big producers and processors in the food sector on Wednesday, in order to identify the government measures that can support the increase of the production capacities and the promotion of the Romanian products on the domestic and external markets.

“Thank you for what you do for the Romanian economy, for creating jobs and paying your state taxes! I want to know directly from food producers and processors with what problems we face and to identify the public policies that the Government can promote to increase and diversify the production capacity, to increase the Romanian products”said Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.
The head of the Executive added that a discussion on these topics also had with the representatives of the Association of the Great Commercial Networks in Romania, who offered their willingness to contribute to the promotion of Romanian producers on foreign markets.
According to a Government statement, the representatives of the companies have pointed out the difficulties they face in carrying out investment projects.
“They appreciated the opening to the dialogue of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and showed the availability to continue the consultations to identify government solutions to support the increase of the production capacity and to promote the Romanian products in the shops in the country and on the foreign markets”, shows the statement.
At the consultations at the Victoria Palace, together with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, the head of the Prime Minister, Mihai Jurca, and the state councilor in the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Raul Gutin, participated.
