The talks are to concern possible terms of a future peace agreement. This is Ukraine's response to the proposal of a “peace plan”, consisting of 28 points, prepared by Donald Trump's officials, reports “Europejska Pravda”. The Ukrainian politician did not provide a specific date for the meeting on this matter, but only noted that it was to be held in Switzerland.

“Ukraine is approaching this process with a clear understanding of its interests. This is the next stage of the dialogue that has been ongoing recently and is aimed primarily at agreeing on our vision of the next steps,” Umerov wrote on Facebook.
The head of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council emphasized that Ukraine will conduct consultations taking into account its own interests and national security.
“We value the commitment of the American side and its readiness for substantive discussion. Ukraine will continue to act responsibly, professionally and consistently – in accordance with the requirements of our national security,” he wrote.
Earlier, Rustem Umerov denied it media rumors about his supposedly positive reaction to the 28-point “peace plan”, which appeared after information about his participation in the talks in the US. “During my business trip to the United States, my task was a technical one – organizing meetings and preparing dialogue. I did not provide any assessments,” Umerov emphasized in a statement on Facebook.
