The National Directorate for Cyber ​​Security (DNSC) draws an alarm about a new misinformation campaign circulating in the online environment. On the social networks are distributed clips and materials that, falsely, argue that Romania would prepare to receive millions of Israeli citizens, including by allocating 3 million apartments.

“Attention to misinformation campaigns propagated on social networks! In the online space, clips and materials are false in the online space that Romania would prepare the hosting of millions of Israeli citizens, including by allocating 3 million apartments. In order to combat this wave of false information, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated legal steps, including the notification of digital platforms that host these contents.

DNSC reminds the population the importance of verifying information from official and credible sources, urging caution in the face of alarmist or unverified content: “Protecting the information space is a common responsibility.”
