The Council of Ministers adopted a draft budget act for 2026. valorisation of pensions, which – according to the Ministry of Finance – will cost about PLN 22 billion. The forecast valorisation of pensions should amount to 4.9 percent, i.e. the statutory minimum. That's less than 5.5 percent In 2025, however, its final amount will be known only at the beginning of 2026, after the level of inflation and wage growth is announced.

Pensions 2026. Valorization will be, but small
The fact that the valorisation of pensions will be certain is certain because it results from the Act on pensions from the Social Insurance Fund. The changes always come into force on March 1, so in spring 2026, pensioners can expect higher amounts on their account. However, these will not be significant increases – with valorisation 4.9 percent. minimum pension, which now amounts to PLN 1878.91, in March 2026 it will increase by approx. PLN 92 to the amount of around PLN 1970.90 gross. Thirteen and fourteen will be the same.
Pensions and disability pensions are subject to valorisation every year from March 1. The valorisation consists in multiplying the amount of benefit by the valorisation indicator – i.e. the average annual inflation rate increased by at least 20 percent. increase in average salary in the previous calendar year.
