The president emphasized that the Russian side prevents the repair of transmission lines to the power plant and restoring the funds of basic security.

“It is the Russians that prevent the power lines to repair the power plant and restore security. This is absolutely a threat to everyone. No terrorist in the world would allow himself to be done with a nuclear power plant what Russia is doing now. And it is important that the world does not remain silent ” – noted Zelanski.

The president informed about a meeting with military command and the management of the Ministry of Energy, after which he ordered the government to familiarize with the situation of world public opinion.
The Zaporian Nuclear Power Plant, the largest nuclear gym in Europe, has been occupied since the beginning of March 2022. In its area there are Russian soldiers and employees of the Russian state group Rosatom.
Until February 2022, i.e. the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the power plant in Enerhodar was connected to the four main energy lines with a voltage of 750 kilovolts. Six spare lines with a voltage of 330 kilovolts remained at the management of the object.
